History
The Shark Shack is a local Family owned and operated Restaurant that specializes in fresh seafood! The Restaurant began with our favorite Danish Chef, Chef Tom. Chef Tom has traveled quite literally, all over the world perfecting his trade in fine-dining French Cuisine. He spent 5 years cooking in the Bahamas, where his inspiration for the restaurant was born!
In 2018, his daughter, Taylor and Son-in-law, Jeremy bought the restaurant and began running the restaurant as a team with Chef Tom enjoying a little taste of what the "retirement life" has to offer.
Location
We are located in the heart of Atlantic Beach, N.C. The "Crystal Coast" is famously known as Fisherman's paradise and hosts the world-known Big Rock Tournament every year!
Upon arriving at The Shack, you will see our bright yellow fence. During your visit Palm Trees shade our yard and Flags fly proudly. Although small and quaint in size, don't let the Shack fool you, it packs a punch of flavor with that small home town appeal.

The Food
The Shark Shack is a Local Favorite for our Famous Fish Bites. You will also find our Jumbo Homemade Crab Cakes, large Shrimp, juicy fried Oysters, Clam strips, Seafood Wraps overflowing with Shrimp and Grouper, and much more! In addition to our everyday menu items, check out our Daily Specials (visible from our homepage, Facebook or Instagram) where we list our special blended grilled or blackened Tacos every weekend. The Sauces
Our customers love our 9 Homemade sauces that are made special to complement all of our seafood. If you can't decide what to try, the customer favorite is our Homemade Cilantro Lime Sauce! You can even buy your favorite to be bottled to take home to enjoy!

Outdoor Seating
Eat with us and enjoy our outdoor seating; we are just blocks away from the beach and right near the entrance to a beach access! Feel free to come dressed in your beach wear or visit in your work attire, we welcome it all! Our Yard is fenced and provides a safe and fun place for you and the little ones to enjoy games like Hula Hoops, Corn Hole, bubbles and more while you enjoy your meal.
Dog Friendly
We are a pet-friendly environment that loves all fur babies! Leashed Pets are always welcomed and encouraged! we have doggy treats too and water bowls!
